Looking for a more direct approach with someone who won’t just smile and nod?

Life is hard—and for many people, it feels like it's only getting harder. Between the constant demands of daily life, an endless news cycle, and the weight of past experiences, it's easy to feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself.

Therapy can help you find your footing again.

Together, we'll explore the experiences that have shaped you with curiosity and compassion. We'll work to understand the protective patterns that once helped you survive but may no longer be serving you today. Using evidence-based approaches like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) alongside other trauma-informed therapies, we'll help your brain and nervous system process experiences that may still feel unresolved. Rather than simply managing symptoms, we'll work toward lasting healing at the root.

Along the way, you'll develop practical tools to regulate overwhelming emotions, strengthen your relationships, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been buried beneath stress, pain, or shame. Healing isn't about becoming someone new—it's about creating enough safety to become more fully yourself.

Hi, I’m Tanji.

I am a therapist in the Denver Tech Center dedicated to helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion and clarity.

A woman with shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a white t-shirt and dark jeans, smiling and sitting on a wooden chair with a cane backrest, in a room with framed pictures and a potted plant in the background.

I work with adults who have experienced both "big T" and "little t" trauma, difficult childhoods, chronic stress, and other life experiences that continue to shape how they think, feel, and relate to themselves and others. I believe our responses make sense in the context of what we've lived through, and healing begins with understanding those experiences rather than judging them.

My approach is direct, grounded, and compassionate. I'll challenge you when it serves your growth while making sure you feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the process. I integrate EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS/parts work), CBT, and psychodynamic therapy to help clients process unresolved experiences, better understand the patterns that have kept them stuck, and create lasting, meaningful change.
